I am an Art Psychotherapist with a deep reverence for the regenerative potential of the creative imagination and exploring the embodied soul through image, mask, metaphor and symbol. I interweave various modalities offering an embodied integrative approach drawing from influences of Jungian Depth Psychology, Neurobiology and the Expressive Arts.
Rooted in influences of Jungian Depth Psychology, the body-soul connection, psyche-soma and the wisdom of the deep feminine.
My Art Psychotherapy training consisted of a three-year Master’s at the Crawford College of Art and Design. Alongside my Art Therapy training, I immersed myself in the work of Jungian analyst Marion Woodman’s BodySoul Rhythms®, a BA in Counselling as well as a Jungian analysis over several years, deepening my understanding of the psyche through the lens of the body, symbol, metaphor and dream. My current work is increasingly rooted in the mythopoetic imagination, drawing on depth psychology, the archetypal feminine, masks, movement, and spontaneous image-making. I am passionate about creating spaces where the soul’s images can emerge—raw, vital, and transformative. My experience as an art therapist includes working in a variety of settings supporting adults, adolescents in mental health services/CAMHS and young people in school settings.
My background in performance and movement feeds directly into the therapeutic space I hold. I explored film and theatre acting through extended courses in scene study and improvisation. The improvisational freedom and embodied presence cultivated through acting have become invaluable in working with image, expression, and the archetypal dimension through art and movement. These early creative experiences helped shape my understanding of the body as a vessel of story, soul, and transformation.
It is in the mythopoetic realm—in the dance between psyche and soma, image, mask, symbol and movement—where my deepest work unfolds. Shaped by the wisdom of the embodied soul, and inspired by depth psychology, I offer spaces where the deep feminine can rise and speak through art, body, symbol and metaphor.
My Approach
I am passionate about creating safe, sacred spaces where people can reconnect with their inner vitality, discover meaning through symbols and images, and reclaim their authentic voice.
Art Therapy is a space for self-discovery, healing, and transformation. My approach is deeply rooted in the connection between creativity, the body, and the unconscious. I believe that art has the power to reveal what words cannot always express, allowing us to access deeper layers of emotion, intuition, and personal insight.
My work is inspired by nature, dreams, and the regenerative qualities of the soul. My practice welcomes those seeking to reconnect with their creativity, navigate life transitions, or explore emotional healing through image-making and reflective dialogue.
